a busy start

to 2009. we started the year out with unseasonably warm weather. so we went to the park to see the ducks and let me tell ya, did we see ducks. day two was 60 degrees, yep 60, so it was off to the zoo for zoo lights. maggie loved it of course. her two favorite things right now, animals and lights. and then this morning, we woke up to about a foot of snow. so m and d did some pre-sledding in the yard and then it was off to the hill. very cold but very fun. so it was not until this afternoon that i had coffee with friends that the conversation rolled around to new years resolutions. i thought about my resolutions of yesteryears. i usually keep them simple, they are harder to break that way. i had requested that santa add five hours to each of my days but he didnt deliver that one. so i was thinking time management. but then the thought of me being organized kinda blew it. my horoscope said that i should "push beyond my own boundaries". wow, that could be dangerous... but what the heck... so heres to pushing my boundaries. time will only tell what will come....
