summer nights

Oh how I love summer nights... we have eaten every meal on the patio for the last few weeks and this makes us happy!

Here are the kids, bathed, in pjs and ready for bed. or so we thought... D and I quickly discovered them back in the sand pit with the hose... their giggles were so delightful that we let them be, grabbed a beer, and enjoyed the sounds of their laughter. When it finally reached a time for sleep, we brushed them off and washed their sheets in the morning :)

The last two Wednesdays have been spent with picnic dinners and friends.  One was at the fishing hole and the other was practicing our t-ball swings...

Nothing beats it!
