the ouchie

our poor little girl took a spill off of her stool on friday. she was busy feeding her brother some gold fish crackers and stepped right off the edge. she had a pretty good cry. even had to call her dad and tell him about it. but i really didnt think much of it. she could wiggle her finger and wasnt complaining about it. so i gave her some ice cream (makes everything better) and that was that. well saturday morning there was some swelling but she still wasnt complaining unless your tried to mess with it. so d took her in for some x-rays. he says that she was quit the trooper, never crying, sat still for her x-rays, and let the nurse bandage her up without any fussing.

the x-rays looked good but fractures can take up to seven days to appear in small children. so we will be seeing a specialist this week. i honestly think our little drama queen is enjoying her pampering. more on that later!
