taking advantage

Jack is finally starting to figure out this dog of ours. She was sleeping so nicely in the corner and Jack decided this would be a good time to pet her. So he just plopped himself down next to her and pinned her down. You see our poor little man sure does get run over a lot by Blue. When he sees her coming at a run he usually drops and rolls up into a ball. It is sad and funny at the same time.... but at least he is learning. Mags on the other hand runs fast enough that the dog thinks it is play time. But not fast enough to get away from the bite. She is a little scratched up at the moment. If it is not bad enough to bring on the tears her usually reply is "darn dog" (learned THAT from her father).

But I am truly glad to report that we are once again sleeping through the night. We were having some major poop issues. Blue was a little off schedule and thought that the perfect time to unload was in the middle of the night. Wouldnt be such a big deal if she would have just woken one of us up. But no, she would just go to the back door, do her thing, and return to bed. I have come to realize that poop has played a major role in our lives lately. Potty-training, dirty diapers, the dog.... So if you were one of those people that called on a "bad" day, yes we love our new puppy... poop and all!
