here we go again... another scratch on the marriage board... 12 years! twelve years ago we were just kids, 23 & 24, he was an electrician, i was a waitress in a bar, we were both in school, we went camping often and had wild bbqs. marley was the only mouth we had to worry about feeding... and look at us now!
a dozen years later and how things have changed... we are only kids at heart, 35 &36, he is a city employee, i am a stay-at-home mom, i am still in school, we still love to camp (although it doesn't happen as often as we would like) and we still have bbqs, but it is usually the kids that are the wild ones these days. marley has left us... but we know have three mouths to feed.

in twelve years I hope... we are still kids at heart, 47 & 48, we have jobs that we enjoy, I will be done with school (hopefully), we will be camping in an RV, or better yet our own cabin :) we will still have bbqs and we will be the wild ones embarrassing our teenage children, and jacks eating habit will become normal so we can afford to feed him :)
