superb

it was one superb mothers day weekend. there was lots of stuff going on. and for one i got to cuddle this little guy...
and this one with her funny faces...
the kids did lots of bouncing...


and playing... sunday morning jen and i woke to breakfast, huevos rancheros, with fresh eggs straight from the coop, yummy! then we headed out to the lake for some fun. the kids had a blast fishing and playing in the mud and water. denny grilled up some lunch, d entertained the kids, and jen and i got to sit, relax, chat, and enjoy ourselves.

when we got home the kids were bathed, fed and put in bed. denny and d went back to the grill to cook up some filet and shrimpies, followed by dark chocolate brownies with coffee ice cream (my new favorite dessert), wine and a few games of cards. but dont think they spoiled us too much... they skunked us two games in a row. something that NEVER happened before we had kids... i blame it on baby-brain :)
i am not quite sure we are destined for a third child, but i do see some chickens in our future!
